M340i & M340D Diff problems?

Hey Folks,

Looking to purchase a M340i in the near future. Do these suffer with differential problems? Have seen a few posts on a facebook owners group mentioning them whining and needing replaced even at low mileage?

I've never heard of issues particular to the M340, but it does share the same diff which is fitted to full fat Ms
