Wagner Intake Manifold WMI
I purchased a Wagner Intake manifold/intercooler with the methanol injection preprocessed ports. The ports look like you have to drill out the center. A) Has anyone installed direct port injection with this manifold. B) Do you just drill/tap it out to an 1/8th for the injector nozzle holder?

I was wondering if they were supposed to come pre-drilled out. The hole is there on the inside. But, it doesn't go all the way to the outside.

Update from Wagner Engineering: the 1/16th ports shown in the picture (listed on Wagner website product description as "six preprocessed NOS or WMI ports) are intended to only be used for NOS as most WMI nozzles and fittings are 1/8th. The three ports on the other side of the manifold that are behind where the throttle body mounts in are intended for methanol (referenced on Wagner's website as "Three 1/8 NPT ports for additional parameter measurement"). Also, it's hard to tell with the powder coating but the preprocessed holes are allen plugs that will just screw out with an allen wrench.
The overall design is great and I'm sure everything will work fine. But, I was hoping to use direct WMI for each cylinder. I will install using the setup as the engineer recommended and update everyone once it's tuned how it turned out. I'll likely run two 6gph nozzles to start the tune (Snow recommended starting with the power you're currently at for initial tune and then move up injector size (or quantity) from there. Snow's Nozzle chart states 18gph would meet 800 crank hp needs. But, after a quick call to them, they said to step down one for safety. So, I would try to get to 16gph by having the two 6gph nozzles for the initial tune and then adding a 4gph nozzle as we increase the power in the tune. |

Yep. I'll share the results. I'm going to install the intake manifold first since the Pure 900 turbo won't be here until at least end of the month. I won't run meth until I install the turbo, Dorch DS25 hpfp and S58 injectors though since the tune is set up for the new fuel set up and not the current set up. I'll probably make a run or two with just the intake manifold installed just to see the net change in dragy times.
