Incorrect PSI Reading After Tire Install

Hi, everyone.

Just got a 2025 m340i, and it’s been awesome. I wanted to get out of the runflats, so I went with Conti’s ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus. Tires and service through Discount Tire.

Through Idrive, I reset the tire pressure monitor, but my PSI numbers seem to be way off (see image). Is this normal for a bit? Might the sensors be messed up? I’m going to manually check the pressure in the morning to make sure everything is good. I thought that maybe because the tires aren’t starred, that might cause some issues for the system but not sure.

Are the tires cold when you checked? Get a physical TPI gauge. Keep in mind idrive doesn’t do a great job at recommending tire pressure as even when you select the correct tire type via “manual” summer, it still wants to suggest a higher than normal pressure as if runflats were still installed.
