Hello, just picked an M340I up 22 plate none LCI. I have 1 definite issue and possibly a second. The first definite issue is the passenger door ambient light doesn't work all other doors work fine. Has anyone had this and was it an easy fix. The second possible issue is the handbrake doesn't automatically apply when I put the car in park even with auto hold switched on I don't know if this is just a BMW thing. The auto hold works fine.

I just read the auto hold section in the manual for my 22 g22 and the parking brake should apply when the car is turned off when the auto hold feature is on.

I've tried all sorts of variations and it just won't activate on its own.

Is the car still under warranty? If so, you can let the dealer sort the issues.

I recently had a 2025 330i loaner from the dealer. The autohold technically activated, but did not hold the car in place. I reported this to the dealer when I returned the car. They appreciated that I made the effort to let them know about the issue.

Ye its got warranty I'll book it in i was just looking for a possible easy fix. Every other light in the door works it's just the thin strip light that doesn't.
