The part number provided has three different images in the pack. One of the images is the 50th anniversary bmw logo. If you don't have the projector lights already the projector kit comes with slides but not the 50th anniversary image but the regular BMW image.

I was looking at the front mount intake by RK Tunes, but what held me back was two things ( from watching a install video) you have to shave the map sensor to make it fit ( this made me think that perhaps this intake wasn’t meant for the m340i and perhaps a 340i or a b58 with a smaller map sensor , im assuming). And where the cone sits the Vbrace is pushing against the intake tube causing it to flatten a tad.

I spoke to RK Tunes ( cool guys by the way) and they have plans to update the intake. But I’m sure it won’t be anytime soon. So I probably go with the one you have.

How do you like it so far?

Absolutely loving it. Sounds absolutely fantastic. I had the ArmaSpeed intake on my last M340i and this is definitely louder. Better intake, spooling and "blow off" noises, for sure! And now that we're finally in window down driving weather, all that more intoxicating!

Go with the IAW, you won't regret it!

Thank you for replying, I’ve been waiting for feedback on different intakes. The CTS turbo intake lacks a bracket so literally being held down only by the hood. So I returned it. I noticed that IAW is identical but one it’s a closed intake and two it’s scured by the heat shield so it won’t move. And I think I’m gonna go with IAW.

You guys made me buy these alcantara arm rests. Didnt get the black ones, as you can see I have the red interior and the color is slightly mismatched but its not a huge big deal. This is more of a comfort mod. I can't belive a 60K+ car has these hard as rocks arm rests from the factory. A 20K Nissan Sentra has padded arm rests

One thing to keep in mind is the adhesive they provide is super weak, the passenger side did not stick at all. I'll need to order some double sided tape and re-do these at some point.

what springs are you running and how does the car ride with them and the bigger wheels?

So I’m running Dinan springs with handling kit , so it’s 1” front and 1” rear, I have adaptive M suspension so to me it rides like factory on comfort and sport individual sport plus is more bouncy has more play for cornering and speed, eco it’s firm, and adaptive well it adapts to different circumstances, sport it’s like medium not too stiff not too soft like sport plus but not as loose as sport plus.

The car rides better to me on twenties then the 19s she came in and I think it has more to do with the The width of the wheels , the traction is 100% better then a square set up. The only down side is you can’t rotate your tires.

But she rides super comfy.

My adaptive M suspension has a lot to do with how different she rides then those with M sport suspension.

Got some quad exhaust tips for my M340i from AliExpress. Excellent quality and they only took about 30 minutes to install.
Now just need a new diffuser 😂

This looks great. And this is what I want to do to mine. But I have the M Performance exhaust and from my research I would have to cut .5” to 1” not sure how true this is but I haven’t found anyone that has installed these with my kind of exhaust.

I have the M Performance exhaust as well and I did cut about .5" or just a bit more off. The reason to make the cut is so the tips don't stick out so much. Cuts like butter with a small grinding wheel.

Here’s a pic of mine without any cut. I bought mine from bimmereuro, and I have the MPE!

Tbh it looks pretty good, but required a ton of work to get right, and I honestly might still cut the exhaust a bit.
