I'm still testing and im not entirely convinced that it keeps the screens full brightness during day light. I'll continue testing and report back.
However I can confirm that night time brightness switches to a dimmer mode exactly as before, and the little dial still controls the brightness at night. I'd say zero difference at night, which is good.
