Also, side note: Has anybody figured out a way to allow the car to start up automatically in 'Comfort+' mode instead of regular 'Comfort' mode? |

This would be super useful for winter/snow. Starting on icy roads is iffy on 1st gear.

Though I do like the way 'Comfort Plus' manages the gear shifts — the progression from second through eighth gears feels well-balanced and responsive during everyday driving around town. |

What do you mean by second gear being deleted?

Yeah that comment makes no sense. What (I assume) he means is it starts in 2nd gear and doesn't use 1st gear when in Comfort+.
That is what I and others have confirmed with Comfort + That it will take off in second gear and not use first gear at all. |

I went ahead and removed the coding since it's bothering me too much. |

What's wrong with taking of in 2nd gear?
Tbh, this feature is what stopped me from buying xhp. I wanted to buy it just for taking of in 2nd gear, I'm not interested in an actual stage on my transmission. But now, I just use comfort plus when I want to take off in 2nd gear. Last edited by robertni; 10-24-2025 at 06:52 AM.. |

Hi.
Thanks heaps. I have a 2024 BMW F96 X4M Comp and I can't believe how much better the car feels after using Bimmercode in Export Mode.
Maybe the only negative that I'm sure can be addressed is that the difference between normal steering and Cruise Control Lane Assist steering is significant, you're driving within your lane and if the car detects movements within your lane, you feel the stronger steering taking control. I found it pretty straightforward with Bimmercode. Be aware that it can't be undone without applying a backup. I wanted to get rid of it, but it was so far back that I would have had to undo a lot of other things. It wasn't worth it, so I kept.
I found with my '22 M340i, it was hardly noticeable. |

I used Esys to revert back — no need to load backup like Bimmercode. BimmerUtility is also an option. |
