I think it looks great. I don't like the fact that it's getting bigger though. It's no longer a compact car and it's now considered a midsize sedan. I hope it's still as nimble as the E90 at least.
The exterior is now in line with G30 5 Series so I personally can't say anything negative about it; even the taillights. Although, I wish it would light up differently since it's very similar to the IS. The interior design is very simplistic and kinda futuristic with the understated look. I like the material choice but I'm on the fence with the crystal knob and push start button. Overall, a nice evolution for the 3 series and looking forward to seeing them on the road and maybe owning one in couple of years. ![]() ![]() |

Has anyone else noticed this looks like a Lexus?
On a completely unrelated topic, this looks like a Lexus. |

Overall, it looks good. Styling is definitely modernized to compete with Acura, Lexus and Alfa, though like others have mentioned, it favors the Lexus a little too much. It will sell as well as previous models did, and we will all go bananas when the M3 is revealed.
I'll reserve full judgement until I can see a wide variety of colors / specs in person. I'm sure pics don't do it justice.

Why? Why does anyone need to justify anything? G20 is what it is, good and bad. I think it's pretty safe to assume that if a person got am M340i loaded 2 years ago he/she can get this one when it becomes available. The pricing didn't even go up much if at all with particular equipment. You guys make it sound like, yep you're fcked you got a wrong car and will have to drive it for the rest of our life while we enjoy the new G20, lol

I believe the black one is the M340i vs the blue is the 330i with Msport package

That's the European/UK scale. The US one will be more in line with what you would expect.

As someone who can be very critical of new designs I find myself thinking this is a VERY sharp looking car both inside and out. Tailights are a departure from the norm and a good one if you ask me, sure they look at a bit like a Lexus, but that's not a bad thing. Obviously I'm not a fan of digital dashes in general so that's really my only complaint. The M3 is going to be a very sweet ride down the line.

Thomas from Autogefühl said that it is an option, but he might have been mistaken as his exact words were "you will also be able to optionally fit a replacement tire as always".

Looks better than I expected! I am seeing TONS of Audi influence, the taillights, the interior, all over. The headlights remind me of Mercedes. Not a lot of BMW DNA left, save for the grills...kind of.
