Hope this is not as ugly as the I3. You have my interest BMW, don't ruin it with those huge beaver teeth front grills.

The Tesla (charger) to J1772 (car) adapters are sort of "grey-market" adapters. Unlike the other way around, they are not real easy to find. Initially there was only one available from a small supplier. Now there are at least a couple. Not sure what Musk's take on these are... Bitburger's last Summer, huh? That says a lot. A "Frau" from SoCal? I'm at a loss here... Give me a hint... (PM me if necessary)

how do we know this is not just a 430e?
If it debutes 2021, probably as a 2022 model year. Meh, too late. Also, I have concerns about regular 3/4 series modified as EV. To have to compromise as ICE and EV simultaneously does not sound like a great idea. Teslas are designed from the get go as EVs. Same as Volvo Polestar 2. I love the BMW quintessential look as much as the next person, but I highly doubt it will compete well against Model 3. Too many compromises.

So how come you're not going with us north of the Arctic Circle in Feb for Ice Racing?
M4's with studded tires on a frozen lake in Arjeplog Sweden! Whats not to like?

If and when BMW does release the i4 in hopefully 2 years, I hope it does not resemble the concept, or plaster the car with blue stickers everywhere.

Either way, I really hope the G26 or some other G2x will use the B58 as part of a "performance" plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Do this and take my money BMW. |

Should be interesting to see the final product (and grill), has a very similar body design to Audi's Sportbacks in that it looks to be a mix of a Gran Coupe and Gran Turismo (which I think BMW has been planning to mix both together), also noticed on the interior the door handle is much further forward than that of a G20 (just some minor differences).

The G20 cabin is great, but hoping for something more different than just an electric 4GC. i3 has a unique interior. Would be nice to see some "i" design in the cabin
