Picked up some banana milkshake whey yesterday at GNC. Mixed it with some peanut butter post-workout last night....so damn good.

Please tell me you used your new SOG tomahawk to hack it up.
BTW, don't try to throw that thing. Apparently the handles don't.....hold.....up all that great after a few throws. |

Considering this purchase is not a weapon... I just ordered an IWB holster for my HK P30 from We The People holsters. Code Dan earns $10 off.

I get Bulk Supplements creatine and mix with Jacked Factories Growth Surge Swoleberry post-workout now. Been doing this for about a week, I was drinking it with my pre-workout before. |

Seeing as how I'm stuck inside for God knows how long, I figured I may as well be comfy.

That's where the old "5 day loading" phase came about so you could get your levels up quickly, then you just dosed once a day afterwards. But just in case as it couldn't hurt, I would use it PW as that is when your muscles are uptaking everything like a sponge. Also most PW shakes will contain some carbs, so you are using insulin to your advantage as it's primarily a "driver" that is shuttling everything into the depleted muscle!

Pulled my old pressure washer out and the tank was rusted out. It was 15 years old. Ordered a new one so I can clean my deck before staining and then my driveway and sidewalks.

So I did a LOT of research, read a bunch of reviews, etc. Literally I've been shopping seriously for one for probably 5 years but every time I'd get close I'd chicken out for one reason or another. Either it would be some $500 knock off and I'd do the whole "You'll be immediately pissed for buying a cheap POS" thing. I met a woman at a party last summer who works for a company that outfits Amazon's offices with furniture and she claimed she could get me one for $4k. I was SUPER close to pulling the trigger on a real one but even at the steep discount I just couldn't justify it. Especially knowing that my dogs would jump up on it, it will get scratched and bumped and dinged. So I ended up rolling the dice on the nicest replica I could find. I paid for the upgraded aniline leather and prayed I wasnt getting ripped off with some shitty bonded leather BS. I'm happy to report it's 100% aniline leather. On the back of the arm rests where the leather is folded over and attached you can see the thickness and that it's died black as oppose to painted black. it also came out of the box smelling like leather. So yeah, super happy with the purchase and the price. With a coupon on Amazon it was $1300 with shipping included. https://www.manhattanhomedesign.com/...SABEgJp2_D_BwE |

I got schooled on the Eames chairs a few years back. A buddy of mine has one that is an original (circa 1950-something) and a another that is a reproduction. Both the same color and to my untrained eye, I didn't know the difference between them. I learned (was basically yelled at for sitting in a chair) quickly which chair was acceptable to sit in and which one was not.

I've got an original '59 lounge chair in Rosewood.
I bought it for cheap, many years ago, before the internet exploded on mid-century. Previous owner had used bolts thru the side panel when the glued mounts failed (common failure). I had Herman Miller install new mounts, and then the St. Louis office sent the repaired shell to a local woodworker who made "matching" plugs...it's not perfect, but it is nice. The original black leather upholstery is a little worse for wear around the edges...but...the thickness/quality is os much higher than the late production pieces. Sadly, I've never even had it set-up in the house...just too many pieces, quite a few stored away in my "garage", including (2) Womb chairs, a bunch of Wakefield Aristocraft sofa pieces, and an Eames AL group sofa. -Mark in St. Louis |

One of my latest first-world annoyances is using the OEM container my collegen comes in. The lid is both insecure, yet not the easiest to open... especially before my morning coffee! I've kind of had my eye out for another container to make grabbing a quick scoop easy.
Today I stumbled upon these nice Le Creuset stoneware canisters of varying sizes. Not only does the wood lid seem easier to use, but the appearance is worlds better than the plastic OEM canister stirring on my countertop. I picked the color that somewhat-kinda matches the brand of collagen I use. My other reason for picking one of these up is I might give one (or two small ones) of these to my sister for her upcoming birthday. I thought I'd try one for my self first.
