Do you like it?

If yes, stick it on! Each to their own and it's easy to remove if you ever have enough of the next owner chooses.

If you do I'd vote front, although not to my taste I think that'd look better

While not for me, it is not for me. So enjoy. I would recommend the back, not the front as I think it would be distracting to have it in front of you all the time.

A bit loud. I came upon this during a search for other personalization bits. Not my taste either but along the lines of what you're going for:

No because it's a bit tacky IMHO. It may also reinforce the "true M car" owners' firm belief that people that don't own a real M car are poseurs. Lol.

In my serious opinion though, I simply think stickers like this take away from the subtle beauty of a car like your M440i. Car enthusiasts will appreciate it for what it is w/o having to advertise it further. Just my 2 cents.

To Each His Own

I would not put it on either window. I also intend to order my four-door M440 without the badges on the rear panel. It just looks better that way IMHO.

I think it's a done deal so no sticker. I had a feeling that was going to be the outcome!

While most of the forum members don't like the idea, it is YOUR car...so do with it what you want.

Is this a real question? Come on. The M performance models have a solid place in the BMW lineup but they are not full M division cars, just as they are not Alpinas. As controversial as the styling of the new G8X cars are, it underscores the fact that BMW wants to make sure there is no confusion between a 3 / 4 Series and and an M3 /M4.

How does the M4 look so different from the new 4 series that it eliminates confusion?

Technically the sticker says "m performance" not M powered or M boss stating it's a non m powered engine but just with small add one ..! What's the difference between the performance parts upgrades on an true M than on a tuned regular engine! Also in Europe they stick the m badge on the side!

If you don't see the difference, then sorry but I can't really help you. Regardless, the difference is more than cosmetic: different engine, different suspension, different tuning, different performance, the list goes on. I own a G20 M340i and I am completely fine with the fact that it is not a full M car. It shares an engine with the F30 340i - also capable and also not an M. There was a thread here where people were griping about the snobbery of M car owners, but IMO, we look as ridiculous trying to pretend our cars are not different from full M cars.

I know the difference. But I needed AWD so I went with the m performance version! If I had more room in my garage I would have an m4 and than a regular one for the crappy ny weather!
