Actually, I take that back. The GT3 grill (or lack thereof) with the single bar looks amazing. |

this is become better and better.
the wide kidney grills gives it a wider look. the placement of the grill with response to the headlights is very natural (unlike LCI 7 series). another good design is headlights are separate from kidney grills. the relationship between the shoulder line and the fenders is better than the 4 series. looks like hood bulge is saved for the M2.

This won't be popular and I hate the new grills on the M3 but these grills are almost too small and too traditional, say what you want about the g80 m3 but it looks modern - not a fan of the headlight design - eager to see the new m2.

I'm strongly considering the G42 M240 to replace my e92 and based on the proportions it might look TOO similar to the e92. I love the look of the e92, but do I want another car looks similar to the one I have now? I'll have to wait and see the final reveal.

Of course. That's what I'd want myself, especially if I keep my OG 6 speed as well. Either way but yeah good to know! Thanks.

Looks like the G42 2 Series will make its debut at the Festival of Speed event which runs from July 8th - July 11th.
Does that mean we can expect the full leak a few days before that? https://www.goodwood.com/grr/event-c...emiere-at-fos/

G42 2er kidneys (see for example an earlier post here):
closed (source: here): opened (source: here): Hofmeister kink and fuel cap (see for example earlier posts here and here): The recently spotted test mule still features the camo plaque tacked onto the C-pillar, but this time around the fuel cap location is taped (source: here): Compare with (source: here): The G42 2er will get its world premiere on July 8, 2021 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2021 (see here).

This one says 2731 between the front and rear tires. Normally the longer the less bouncing. The current/last generation 2 series was quite bouncy on the highways unlike the 3 series. I wonder if on the new one they increased the length a bit to help with the bounciness.

I think it looks fantastic! Perhaps the mirrors are too large and square but otherwise there’s real potential there

I will wait until I see it in person but it's a shame it's lost the BMW double headlights.
