330e oil catch can

After updating with Dinan carbon air kit, I would like to add an oil catch can.
I can see some offerings from burger motor sport, but requires their air intake kit to fit it.
Has anyone got experience fitting one of these to the 330i or 330e and what kit did you go for?

I added a catch can a while ago when the car had about 10k miles on it. It works well. Changed my plugs at 50k miles and had none of the deposits on the plugs or in the cylinders that some others have asked about.

I went with a cheapo can from Dorman. Took about an hour to install it. Link of my original post below.

I can't seem to find anything from Burger saying their kit only works with their intake?

I was planning on picking this up at some point.... but I too have the Dinan intake and turbo inlet, not Burger's.

Yeah that is my mistake. Thanks for pointing that out. 👍 I mis-informed myself from a YouTube video.
I does look tidy that solution, but still quite expensive too. Have you installed it

Ok, glad that we figured that out. LOL

No, haven’t bought it yet. Seems like a decent idea though after seeing:feeling a slight oily film when I installed the inlet.

Spendy, yes. But seems to be a pretty high quality bit of kit. Plug and play is nice too.

FWIW, I had my intake and inlet taken apart due to a little SNAFU. They've been installed just about two years/15,000 miles.

There didn't appear to be any oil build up in the inlet or the turbo... which is interesting because it seemed like there was a little bit when I removed the stock airbox and inlet to install the Dinan gear.

So, does the catch can offer a placebo effect? I guess? Can it hurt anything? Probably not. I guess it depends on if you want to drop $200 for something that might be a solution looking for a problem? YMMV

It's not a placebo effect on my car. I empty about 100ml captured oil every 3k miles in hot weather and 300-400ml oil water sludge mix in cold weather. I'm at 54,500 miles now. No drama and I've had the catch can on since 10k miles. For me it's cheap insurance.

I have a G20 and I used the burger motor sport oil catch can kit. However, when I ordered this kit, I didn’t realize it was for the F-chassis B46. With some minor modifications made to the hoses and reconfiguring the provided brackets, I was able to fit it with no issues.
