I checked this morning after not looking for a few days and I'm now ready for transport. Now it's time to become a union labor deal analyst

Having an issue getting into MyGarage this morning, but I called Genius and they noted my car arrived at the Port Hueneme VPC today (via Graceful Leader). It had been in "Ready for Transport" since September 9 and was still in that state when I checked yesterday.

When I called Genius last Monday (the 16th), they said a vessel still hadn't been assigned. So sometime over the last week it made it on a ship and up the coast to the port.

Hopefully just a couple more weeks now to make it up to Oregon.

I checked the app this morning and it says my car arrived at the port! Skipped from Ready to transport to At Port. So excited I called BMW genius and it’s in Oxnard, CA. Car should be on a truck 9/26. Subject to change. My sales associate states should be here beginning october.

Nice and wheels are really fit well to this car. Initially I liked previous design of the wheels, but more I look at the on the car more I like them. Wheels looks bigger than previous design, but they are same size. I got same staggered wheels on on my order, but cooor is Skyscraper gray with Takora red.

I’ve been doing some poking around and found some features that seem to vary by region. Does the US version have welcome lightening? I was under the impression that only Canada got those. Also, does the new US version have the elaborate “Welcome light show” when the car is unlocked? One of the videos post in this thread said that Canada does not get that feature.

Hey guys I was wondering after the car is built how long will the whole shipping process take? My car just started production and is aimed to finish on the 4th of October after it is finished how long will it take to arrive at the dealership. It is coming to nj

Interesting that US orders I am seeing don’t appear to have the glass application Crafted Clarity for interior elements. Is that not an option in the US?

Well, "my" car arrived, but looks like the deal is falling apart... dealer gave me a range of 3k on my trade, but now they're firm on the low end of that. The entire reason I wanted a new car is because I can trade in my car (which is nearly the value of the m340), and thus not have to pay sales tax or deal with the hassle of selling my car.

I'm not even asking for the moon, and 2 other dealers, plus carvana, is at the upper end of that range (I've also verified the numbers with recent wholesale transactions). The best part is the pricing they're giving me on the m340 doesn't take into account my trade at all - they could care less if I trade it in. So why lowball me? Particularly on a mint M car.


I'm still pretty sure the m340 is the goldilocks car for me, but on principal, I'm not ready to "give away" my x3m comp - its silly clean and needs nothing. Looks like I"ll keep it and maybe add a new rwd model 3 to serve as an effortless daily driver appliance.

I'll always be amazed how difficult it is to work with traditional car dealers - what a joke.

If I remember correctly, my last order took about 2.5 weeks waiting for the carrier, shipping, and then waiting for delivery to the dealership in NJ.

I ordered custom specifically for this color and you just convinced me it will be worth the wait. The way it's comes off as black in dark conditions but pops in the sun is great! Went with cognac for my interior as I think the combo looked perfect but I like your spec too.. Production starts early October. I'm hoping to have it by Xmas 🤞

It is not. Galvanized controls as the closest option.

im jealous the 3 series are built in Mexico. The 4s take quite a bit longer to arrive which puts the new interest rate deals at risk. If you order, they lock the rate for 90 days but the car is unlikely to arrive within 90 days so it gets dicey planning what you think incentives will look like ��
