May I suggest that rather than auctioning off your husband credentials (which I'm sure are fantustic) to the forum that maybe a handful of female forumers can help you administer some conversion therapy? : |

Unfortunately, now you have the pain of waiting for the ship to arrive. Be patient, the sailing time seems much longer than it actually is. The waiting is the horrible part of ordering a car, but it will be worth it.

My car is on the boat Hoegh Inchon just left Madagascar, about 2 weeks out from arriving in Melbourne so hopefully delivery towards the end of this month (not like I can drive anywhere!). I keep procrastinating about getting a coating, I need to just make a decision. When I got quotes so many places kept pushing both ceramic + PPF and I'm unsure if I want (or need or should?) go down the PPF track. Any Melbourne people have suggestions for ceramic coating workshops? I've sent an email to my sales rep to find out if it's even possible for me to pick up my car (don't believe it's an essential reason to leave the house under Stage 4 restrictions) or if they can deliver the car to me. Hmm. |

Re the PPF and ceramics, perhaps depends on ur driving environment and degree of obsession in keeping the car as spick as poossible. I do a fair bit of hwy and regional driving so opted for PPF (full front package) with ceramic coat. That way, with the frequent washes to get rid of dead bugs splatter etc the PPF takes the brunt of it as well as some level of stone chip protection. If I were just commuting in the city and suburbs, prob would have just done ceramic coat. Very Happy with the service I received at FinalFinish. They use the GTechniq range and Suntek. Sadly the detailing shops are stage 4 shut currently 😢 |

I like the idea off PPF, but it cost too much for me to consider. So I just did ceramic. I got Gtechniq ultra. I like what it does during a wash or a rain shower. |
