Curb weight increased 108 lb on the 330i because of the mild hybrid system (3536 to 3644 lb). They should have kept the 3 spoke steering on the non M-Sport model. 3 spoke looks so much better. I do like the new wheels on M-Sport.

In 2024, Adaptive Cruise Control should be a standard feature (Audi made it standard on A4/A5). Even an Accord or Camry have it.

Yeah I'm also very disappointed about that. Seems like Canada isn't getting it either (even though it's early to tell, but the canadian press release didn't include the PHEV either).

As PHEVs are getting better (and better understood) and compare favorably to EVs for most people, I don't get this decision; the current 330e has a very small range and slow charging, but the new model fixes that.

I took a quick look this morning and the PHEV accounts to 15% of the 3 series for sale now in my province. One out of three 3 series I see on the road here seem to be the 330e. That's not an insignificant number and my guess is that those consumers won't go back to 100% gas after owning a PHEV...
Agreed. I really wanted a 330e but the electric range was pathetic and I would absolutely 100% order a 2025 with the new range and charging. They probably needed to do new homologation because of the new battery and they couldn’t justify the costs. Unfortunately, having worked there before, I wouldn’t be surprised if dealers were complaining about the 330e and that it’s “harder to sell” so they helped sway NA to scrap it. No offense to any dealers or client advisors here, I’m sure it is harder to sell a 25-mile range 330e but I can guarantee you it wouldn’t be hard to sell a 50-mile range one and BMW NA is going to regret this choice.

Does anyone know if the MY25 3 series will get individual color capability based on reports that the MY25 M2 will be getting that ability if reports are true with both being produced in the Mexico plant?

Because I don’t want the additional complexity, weight, and drivetrain loss, to say nothing of the additional $2000.

Shame we don't get the new 330e wagon. Nice jack of all trades with proper range for a PHEV.

Wasn't expecting an LCI 2.0 change, but I have to say, a simple interior lighting, steering wheel, and carbon fiber trim change group is wholely welcome to the 3 series. The only people that should be mad are brand new MY24 owners, imo.

Wild that BMW clearly has its finger on the pulse for the G20 but not some of the other models. Cash cow gonna cash cow?

Does anyone have any input on how Vegas Red looks in comparison to the previous Melbourne Red? Imo, Melbourne is a really flat, washed-out red; hoping Vegas has some depth. Concur with everyone wishing there was a green option like San Remo. Very weird that the G45 X3 is getting Mineral Red; I figured the 3 and X3 would match popular reds. Guess the 5's red now matches the 3's red.

The configurator images don‘t do justice to in person appearance. It‘s flashy in a good sense, not flat.
And brighter than Aventurine.

Only good change is carbon fiber. If the exhaust sound is indeed, worse, that would be hard to imagine. Oh wait - fake noise. Never mind.

Vegas is a metallic color, so it shifts depending on the light. It really pops under the sun. It's a bit like Mazda Red. Great color.

I could see it for simplification purposes with the German factories forced to have two different versions (one North American non-OPF setup and one Rest of World OPF setup). Why not simplify and just make all of them have it?

But I also wonder if maybe the Mexico factory will add it to US-bound G20s if it’s the only market they serve for G20s and the US doesn’t require an OPF. Why wouldn’t BMW just save the money then and keep it off if? Just my $.02.

4.1seconds in 2L engine? Is there going to be 3.0 version like m340 or m350 or something?

4.1 seconds is for the m340i xDrive with a 3L inline 6…

[QUOTE]The new B58B30M2 3-liter inline 6-cylinder engines in the 2025 M340i models feature a new 48V mild hybrid (MHEV) technology for sharper power deliver and greater efficiency. The auxilliary electric drive of the 48V starter generator can provide 11 hp of boost to the TwinPower Turbo engine, resulting in a maximum system output of 386 hp @ 5,200-6,250 rpm and 398 lb-ft of torque @ 1,900-4,800 rpm.

The engine is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission to propel the BMW M340i from 0-60 mph in only 4.4 seconds, or 4.1 seconds when fitted with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive. The engine’s surge of power is accompanied by an exhilarating soundtrack from the M Sport exhaust system. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph.

yeh my dealer in AU told me they were going to be discontinued for 2025 in advance so i managed to grab one fully optioned. Its such a good car imo. Id prefer it in most situations to the M340i (and ive owned an M340i befrore).

The newer battery size would have been nice but to be honest we get most things done we need to in a day with enough charge. one of BMWs best products imo

Yes. The B58 is actually making less power. The mild hybrid makes up for the difference due to the particle filter.

My 2022 m340i sounds amazing AND it has the mh 48v system. No OPF that I'm aware of.

Yes, no US cars have had the particulate filter yet. The ‘25s will. I put the MPE on my ‘21 with the mild hybrid; Because why not?

Does seem odd, and a bit early for a true refresh.

I’ll assume it’s just BMW marketing speak,
in order to build interest for those consumers
that don’t know what’s come before.

There are some nice updates, but an LCI?
