The M Sport seats have been optionally available in the G2x since 05/20 production, but for some mysterious reason not offered in the USA or Canada.

Things that sucks about US spec:
No amber indicators No rear fogs No folding rear headrests No Touring! There's a list. But, we get the healthier B58 and RWD. So, there's that. |

Amazing similarity to an F10 5er.

I was okay with the m340 badge but never liked the extra m badges all over it and now the side mirrors which were always special just to the full blown Ms.
I get anyone could do those mods on their own but all they are doing now is pissing off the M buyers by making the base versions look almost identical (Audi style). I guess they don't care as they sell a lot more m340is than M3s Has made me look away from the brand. Maybe a cayman GTS and small winter suv instead of M3. |

Don't get me wrong, I left BMW years ago, but it wasn't stickers that pissed me off, but the way the cars actually drove. The new 3 is absolutely huge and holds no interest to me, even a rwd 2er sedan if they offered one would still be too large and heavy. |

Look like new 792M Bi-Color wheels too? Black instead of Cerium Grey?

Hey Kuato,
They actually will be different. If the car is an update (lci) on a pre-existing platform, you’ll see a ton of variation in the test mules, some using new front aero, but current interiors, some using new interiors w/ aero but current rear ends, etc., etc. Only when it’s a completely new design (platform) will you see fully camouflaged mules, front and rear, from the get-go. Very likely the aperture will remain the same size and shape (reduced tooling costs), but the taillight design/aesthetic will definitely be updated. Remember, we’re still 6 months away from the reveal (March-ish) and 9 months from production (7-22). |

It looks like there is no change to the rear lights, correct?
I wonder what the next M3 LCI next year will get then. Most were hoping for an upgraded rear at least but I don't see that happening now.

I'd love to get back into rwd, but really have no interest in awd or an automatic, I'm clearly a dying breed who likes smallish, manual cars. I'd have gladly bought the Polo GTI if we got it here. |
