[QUOTE=SaltyPickle;30066035]If you read through the forum, it's not actually being neutered. The consensus is that the drivetrain may need to relearn/adapt after a software update. If you drive aggressively for a while, the pops and bangs will come back after every update.

when i first got my car there was never a single burble or gunshot backfire. only the occasional pop once in a blue moon.
then someone said i need to drive it very hard. so i took it out and drove for an hour between 4000-redline wide open throttle as much as possible. then it magically turned into this symphony of burbles pops and gunshot backfires in sport plus, with gear stick in sport. unfortunately the car is too quiet to hear them all without all the windows down, removed all the boot floor boards, seats down. |

I thought that the full Sprint mode was exclusive to the LCI (Idrive 8) vehicles, but discovered that my 2022 car has it: if I hold the left paddlе, the transmission downshifts a few gears and the display changes to the sport configuration with a "Sprint" label. I think this came with the 11/2022 software update. Before the update, the downshifts were there, but I do not remember seeing the Sprint label.

I learned that I hate the windshield washer system. The stupid tubing sitting in channels is a PITA when wiping after washing the car. They keep popping out.

Are there any customizations for sport HUD in ID8 LCI m340? Was wondering if you can see any type of tach with rpms or even a gear indicator. I went up some curvy roads the other day and noticed missing a gear indicator while the steering was cranked. With the short ratios of ZF8, it’s not always obvious what gear you’re in lol.

My gripe is not that, but that there is no 'drip sweep' after using the washers. On most modern cars, when you use the washers they do maybe three or four sweeps and then after a pause of around 20-30 seconds, a final sweep to catch any remaining drips. I always have to do that manually on the G20. First world issue for sure, but it has so many other handy little features that it strikes me is an odd oversight.

I never remember to turn off the auto function after driving. My E90 always turns off the functionality after shutting down the car. |

What I don't understand is it pushes the water in front of the wipers, the wipers push the water up beyond its reach and then it just drips back down and leaves a streak.

So I just learned that I can roll the windows down using my key fob by holding down the unlock button. But, I can't close them remotely, even with the app. Is there a way to do this via bimmercode?
This is my first BMW. |
