2022 G20 330i M Sport not in Bimmercode and I'm an idiot!
Ive owned multiple BMW's and have used Bimmercode extensively but I just picked up my 2022 G20 330i (build date 1/8/22) on Tuesday and I can confirm that the G20 is not listed at all. I used a compatible OBD listed in Bimmercode. Quickly connecting based on muscle memory and not looking at what I was choosing, I chose "3 Series, M3" because the first thing I saw was "3 Series". It did connect to the car and it let me code the auto start/stop off. But after coding, the display and cluster fades in and out randomly and no phone is able to pair with the car any longer and it won't delete my initial phone. Only after going back into Bimmercode did I realize that my dumb ass selected "3 Series, M3" as there is no selection for "G20" at all! Sorry for the long post but don't do what Mr. Ass Hat here did. I now have a $50,000 car that can't use a phone and has a fading in-and-out display. I did try doing a recovery and now auto start/stop is back to normal but the problem remains. Any solutions would greatly appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken that is the correct entry. 3 series / M3. Doesn't look like you did anything wrong.

Thank you. Well that makes me feel somewhat better. I just reset Idrive 7 and fixed the phone issue thankfully but the display and cluster fade to real dim every 2 or 3 minutes still. Whenever I coded my f30's it always showed f30 as a selection when connecting but if you said that what I chose is correct I will try to re-code "auto stop" off again. Thanks for the reply.

Also, what else did you code? You didn't mess with instrument cluster ECU if you just coded ASS ON/OFF. Lastly, I will recommend you turn the car off, and wait for one hour. Then come back in and see if the problems you were experiencing continue. Sometimes a fluke will get resolved after the 45-60 minute internal reset.

Ok here are the options. It appears the app will narrow down your options based on the year/VIN reading because it doesn't even list f30. Click image for full list.

Do you have window tints? Do you have anything placed near the speedometer console (particularly on the left side of it where the light sensor is?)
