What did you learn or discover about your G20 3 Series recently?

If you use android I heard it integrates google maps on the hud. Sadly not with iPhone.

T'would be nice to have that. Apple Maps operates on the HUD, and I really dig it, but I prefer Google Maps. I bet this arrives in a future update.

Off topic I guess, but its the only option I've found that still precisely and effectively alerts you of police ahead, and objects on road. Has saved me from tickets AND serious accidents many times.

I have 2022 G20 that I recently purchased :-) While trying to get to grips with iDrive 7 in configuring the screen displays (or "pages" as iDrive calls them) I discovered that the radio widget leaves out parts of the displays of the artist and song names, instead of fitting all in the frame! I managed to enlarge the widget (covering at most half the screen) but still not all text is adjusted to fit in. This must be due to iDrive. In my previous car (Alfa Romeo Veloce) the text simply scrolled across the screen to show all the text. Any ideas, anyone?

May have already been covered but I use these features daily.

Hold Left Paddle shift: Hold for 1-2 seconds, the transmission will downshift to the lowest safe gear for passing.

Good (for me) in comfort mode when I want to quickly pass or just get into power.

Hold Right paddle Shift, tap Left paddle shift: This will get back into "D" (full auto) when in manual mode.

If I'm in Sport + and the car is revving high in traffic or just cruising I would do a little combo - "tap right paddle twice, hold right, tap left". Sounds weird, but you can pull it off quickly and get into a cruising gear

It start to display fuel gauge permanently when you have a quarter of a tank left. Don't know if that's any good for you

It's useful in that mode that clicking the left stick brings everything back for 10 seconds

Further to recent comments on the Reduced mode for the instrument cluster, if you press the upper knob on the indicator stalk, the full display is shown for a few seconds. Furthermore, if you repeatedly press this knob it cycles through the various options on the right side of the cluster (as it does in the full display mode).

I learned that the adaptive cruise control knows what type of vehicle is in front of me and shows a little image of a car, truck, or motorcycle. I wonder what will happen if I'm ever behind someone riding a horse.

Was randomly watching a car review video of a 22 BMW M3 Comp, and dude was showing some features, one of them was the Remote Camera, where it takes a satellite picture of your car, turned out my car is equipped with this too

I found out yesterday you can set activation points on the 360 cams.

Now as I approach my house the front cameras turn on automatically
