Looking good!

The color looks great and I like the contrast with the shadow line package elements.

I'm thinking this is going to be the case for me too. I've been driving my wife's car a lot and it's still fun. And I agree 100%, the sound is what I miss most.

I take delivery in 2 days (this upcoming Tuesday). I'm excited!

I was wondering that as well. Haven't tracked ships into Baltimore since last year - but I believe the boats do have to go under what was once the bridge. Looks like there will be a short term impact at the very least. There was one East coast ship last year that skipped Baltimore altogether. The consensus around here was that the ship unloaded the cars in NJ and trucked them to Baltimore. Probably not feasible unless that shipment has much less than the usual volume of cars destined for Baltimore.

While we are on that topic, anyone on Glovis Crystal? That has to be a BMW ship headed to Baltimore in the next few days.

I took delivery on Tuesday and my CA said absolutely it will affect deliveries. CAs also don’t get paid until the car gets delivered, so there’s that angle too.

Hit final assembly today. What’s the general ETA from final assembly to at the dealership? My dealer is in south Florida.

It depends, mine hit Final Assembly on 1/27, just picked up my car last week on 3/19. Getting assigned a ship and waiting for the ship to be full is what makes it take so long it seems. Good luck with the wait.

Congrats!! Wish you a speedy and trouble-free assembly. I'll likely be waiting to catch a ship when you get Dispatched from the Factory.

Hmm that is longer than what I’d hope for… What was your port of entry? And also is there a way to figure out all the vessels going from Veracruz to Brunswick in the near future or is it tough because BMW uses a bunch of different carriers? Thanks

Mine went to Baltimore. If you go back to a few pages (287, 288) in this thread you’ll see a lot of guys (HumbleDk & Simpact) who were on the west coast who got their car recently to get a better idea of how long it took them. It’s hard to know which shit it will be assigned to. Once it gets assigned BMW Genius will tell up the ship name.

My car is also on this ship, the genius says it's expected to arrive in Baltimore on the 4th, but I don't know if it will be delayed due to the accident

Dealer told me the bridge won't impact Baltimore deliveries. The port for BMW/VW is on the 'waterway' side of the bridge, so noting bridge related would impact it. VW actually stated in an article that they accepted deliveries on Wednesday as scheduled.
