I would like my 330e 2022 to default start in BATTERY CONTROL mode. Is this possible to code with any of the programming tools? I can see it's possible to code the car to start in other modes (ADAPTIVE, COMFORT, COMFORT INDIVIDUAL, COMFORT+, ECO PRO, ECO PRO INDIVIDUAL, ECO PRO+, SPORT, SPORT INDIVIDUAL), but I can't find any information if BATTERY CONTROL is possible.

When you code comfort plus, do you get it come up in the instrument cluster? Mine still says comfort and not comfort plus.

Yes mine switches from comfort to comfort plus in the instrument cluster.

You can code Comfort Plus using Expert Mode for the appropriate modules - but the car will still default to Comfort - meaning you have to manually select Comfort Plus by pressing the Comfort button each time you start the car.

However, once coded - you can then use Basic Mode to set Comfort Plus as the default - this is what I have done, so Comfort Plus is shown in the instrument panel at start-up.

Thanks Mike and tylers1027. Think I've done something wrong so will look in to it again on bimmercode. Double pressing the comfort button does nothing, no comfort plus in the instrument panel, it does show in the I drive screen but greyed out so think I've not done something right.

All sorted, I had changed one of the settings incorrectly, comfort plus now fully working

No, nothing will change. I retrofitted the charger on my car and even without coding it still works. The coding is just to display that the device is charging in idrive.

look i went back to RAM - System - Derivat

and tried G21 G80 G82 G83 G30

they are all slightly different

I do feel that 80, 82 and 83 give you a fuller sound

82 and 83 seem to have the fullest sound

now I'm on G83 but G82 might be better being less full, it's almost like G83 adds reverb which may or may not be useful

regarding Sport PLus attenuation it might just be in my head, as i removed sport steering and what it does is it removes the option from Sport Individual configuration but I'm sticking with sport plus attenuation just in case it helps with roll but i think it's in my head for this one

Hey all.

I saw some comments regarding Lane Change Assist, and I wanted to see if anyone knows if it is code-able yet? I have a 2020 M340i that was a demo model, so I just coded in the assisted driving display. I would love to get the Lange Change Assist, as that was the last piece I miss from my previous 2021 M340i (I was hit and it was a total loss )

So, does anyone know if it is possible with just BimmerCode? I wanted to try Esys but it is just impossible to find all the downloads and files, so I had to give up.

I have a 45e on order and I’ve been on this site in preparation for the arrival. This will be my first BMW and I see the blogs on coding and other than maybe figuring out it’s a method of changing the way the car reacts to different inputs I’m just unsure. Can some point me to ways I can learn what coding can do as I would like to see if it may be of interest to me.

The SOS system still works but the alarms are all disabled. I turned mine off for a few months because I didn’t have time to get the SOS battery changed. In the end it was done under warrantee when I had my end of warentee inspection carried out.

It’s crazy how that warning covers your milage so you can only find out your odometer reading from the app. It’s also an MOT failure because it’s classed as a warning light. Madness.
