October lease deals and incentives?

what are the incentives and deals for a 2021 M340i

I live in so cal. a dealer not to far from me has over 20 M340is in stock. Nother dealer near me has both 2021s and left over 2020s.

MF looks better and incentives appear better on the 2020 but the residual is worse. I'll have to run different scenariors to see if it makes more sense to leas ea 2020 or 2021. from what I can tell they cars are essentially the same..

for the loyalty credit, do I Have to have a LEASED BMW? I curently have a BMW I financed and bought from our local dealer, but did not use their financing. I used my own bank. is that loyalty - b/c I Have a BMW i my household?

my wife recently graduated college - I think for the 2020 i can use a college grad discount.. not sure on a 2021?

thanks for any suggestions!

You've asked this question in many different threads. I also answered many of these questions, including the one about loyalty (loyalty vs lease to lease cash), in those other threads. Perhaps you should follow up in those other threads rather than posted the same question in multiple places and ignoring the other responses.

Can someone help me to decide what would be the best price to ask the dealer for Leasing (36 months / 10k miles per year) a 2021 330i xdrive M Sport (MSRP $59000) with $0 down vs $5000 down?

Ask for 10% off MSRP (So $5,900 off) in addition to the $500 loyalty incentive. Make sure they give you base money factor. Don't put any money down unless it's towards MSD's.

The dealers here are saying they can give more discounts on 2020 vehicles, but if they have to order 2021 custom built then not a big discount. I want to put down so that i can keep my monthly around mid 500$.

So for a $59k MSRP the dealer gave me a quote for 780$ per month with 0$ down (OR) 550$ per month for 5000$ down.

Do you think this is a good deal?

Not a good deal. Depending on what incentives you can qualify for I would think you might be able to get that payment down quite a bit. Everyone gets a $1500 incentive on a 2020 if you currently have another BMW they'll knock off some money as well.

Go to the website leasehackr

They have a calculator online there when you can plug-in the MSRP selling price money factor incentives and come up with very accurate numbers to compare against what dealers are telling you

Thanks for sharing the details. For 2020 on their lot they are giving me 3000$ but for 2021 custom built they are offering only 1500$ I would take the 2020 model if they have the features that i'm looking for, but unfortunately no one has around here. So that's why i'm going for 2021.

I know the monthly with 0$ down comes to $780 and that sounds high, but I thought with 5k down $comes to $550/month sounds reasonable for a 2021 car (59k)?

Your effective cost of ownership is roughly the same. Just putting money down to get a good looking monthly payment doesn't mean you're spending less.

With leasing, putting money down rarely offers any benefit at all. Your money is better served put towards MSD's to lower the money factor.

Either way you slice it, that's a pretty awful deal. If that's the best you can do with this dealer, it's time to involve more dealers to push harder for higher discounts. Understanding discounts are harder to come by these days and incentives are very light for 2021 models, that's still atrociously high for a $59k car.

I concur. My 2021 custom build with a roughly $67k MSRP was $616 a month including taxes, no money down.

Oh wow that's a real deal. Which part of the country you are from? The dealers here in Central Illinois sounds ridiculous 😳

Which dealers have you been in contact with? I ended up contacting 21 different dealers in the Chicagoland area including a few out of state ones to get my deal ($667/month including taxes on a $69k msrp with 12k miles/year)

I'm in the Northeast. My dealer was pretty resistant but I'm a repeat customer and I basically showed him lease broker quotes that were at a 10% discount to MSRP. Told them I was going to walk unless they gave me the same deal and ultimately they did. Other dealers in the area were only willing to give 5% discounts and basically didn't want to negotiate.

Oh wow, did you put any down? I have been with Fields, Patrick and Knauz.

Also what is your residual value at the end of the lease?

Only money towards MSD's. No money down. Putting money down on a lease is strongly discouraged.

Try BMW Barrington and Bill Jacob's BMW in Naperville.

I had some pretty good incentives and residual was 60% when I placed my custom order. But the main thing is I was able to get 10% off pre-incentive.

I guess I probably have to find a good dealer to give me a quote with atleast 10% discount.
