Close tailgate without long press on remote

I added the below in expert mode

Enable Sport + function & Comfort + functions
Expert mode
Body Domain Controller - BDC
3221 PfFesMaster > fes > Change FesSportWorldMode1 to SportExpert (Default should be Non sport expert).
“3221 PfFesMaster” > fes > comfort plus > Comfort Plus

Enable sport + & comfort + options in the I drive menu
Expert mode
Headunit - MGU
3008 > Fes_sport_Expert > Change nicht aktiv to aktiv for sport +
3008 > Fes_Comfort_Plus and change it to aktiv for comfort +

Enable Auto Steering Wheel heat option in I drive
Expert mode
Headunit - MGU
3000 HMI SPEECH > AKT_Auto_Lenkradheizung > aktiv

Enable Auto Steering Wheel heat function
Body Domain Controller - BDC
3142 PfLinLRE > LHZ_ CCM_IKF > aktiv
3450 Others 1 > IKF_ENABLE: ikf_alle_sitze

Enable Rear Camera Zoom (Towbar)
Expert mode
Headunit – MGU
300B Parken- Macro_trailer_coupling > active.

Enable Bowers & Wilkins HI FI & Equaliser
Expert mode
Headunit - MGU
3002 - Audio Broadcast – Audio System then change the parameters from alev3-Ram to alev4-Ram code

Ambient light colours were then changed in expert mode with an additional instruction sheet which I have.

What does enabling the Bowers HI FI do on the HK stereo?

It enables additional sound effect settings like concert, stadium, cinema & live. I prefer concert myself.

I noticed it has been moved to one of the standard coding options now available in Bimmercode, so no longer needs coding through expert mode as previously detailed.

Is there any way to completely restore the data of our vehicle to its factory state ? I mean to its original state before we started playing with Bimmercode app. Because I have changed the Firmware of my phone several times and reinstalled the Bimmercode app. I doubt the original data backup of my vehicle still exists in my phone. After several tweaks/coding my car is throwing errors probably I chose some wrong options.
I am trying to reset it to its original mode and then start again one by one. This time with caution. Is it possible??? Anyone know about how to do it ? Or is there an original data of my vehicle speed online where I can simply download it and restore ???

Any input would be highly appreciated... Thanks in advance

You should be able to do this via restore in system settings.

Hi

Do you know how to disable M Cluster current location / street name in the bottom ? There is a bug that names of street are not centered and when i disable my traction its overlapping with DSC OFF , it drives me nuts.

You mean to enable the feature? Its standard and requires no coding. Just make sure the mirror selector is to the LEFT (towards driver side).

Is it possible to clear all the settings and restore the BMW to its original state? I mean just like how you received that vehicle from showroom and before you started messing with coding?
I guess I messed up some settings and now it's throwing errors like driver assistance restricted and rear light malfunction even after I restore the data in Bimmercode.
Is there a way to rectify it without going to showroom and get the software updated from them??? I am sure the showroom will say I have tuned the car and they can refuse to update the software right??? Will it void my warranty also????
Any expert please suggest what I can do now...

Three choices mate
1.Wait for an OTA update
2. Buy an Enet to OBD cable for $25 off eBay Send a pm to Shawn Sheridan for links to the latest Esys Program & Pzsdata files which will be free and then search Tokenmaster on YouTube and watch his tutorials on how to do FDL coding. In his one tutorial he tells you how to reset it back to factory settings by right clicking on the ECU and then pressing the option code in the sub menu. It is quite simple and you can also backup your new files too for future reference. PS you will need a windows laptop for this option
3.Buy BimmerUtility for $100 which will include the Esys program and all the functions of Bimmercode plus a whole lot more.

Anybody who is using Expert Mode in Bimmercode extensively I strongly suggest you upgrade to BimmerUtility The transition is not that much more complex and you have the added comfort if things go pear shaped you can always resort to your original factory settings in a couple of steps.

I have both BU and BC and use BimmerCode on my iPad for quick setup and simple mods/tests on ECU's that Stephan has given access to. If things go wrong I always have ESys/BU as a backup to fix it.

I have produced a G series cheat sheet that is available on Easy Bimmer Coding Facebook Group page that promotes BimmerUtility. BC users can download and use to code options not preprogrammed by BC. Please note Traffic Light Assist and other driver assist functions will not work as BC does not support the coding of the SAS3 and DSC_VIP ECU's
