I'm not getting leather. The mocha looks great but it's black or Cognac for me.

Deciding blue was a stretch for me...picking cognac on top would be another stretch! But perhaps a good offset vs dark/sporty [vs my age! ]
I'd go with Cognac over black every time. Especially with a black headlining - it's like sitting in a coal bunker. Over here 90% of BMWs have a black interior because that's what the dealers order (same with Audis and Benz - dealers here seem to think European = black interior). Those personal-order cars that don't go with black often attract a premium on resale in my experience. But it may be different in the US - it certainly is in Europe, where it's far more common not to choose black.

Part of the reason I chose Tacora Red is because I love the way it looks, and apparently, so does everyone else. It's different from most other BMWs on the road, it's classy, and it's beautiful. I've gotten so many compliments on it that I know it is very much an "in vogue" look. It should add at least a little bit of value at resale time since you don't see it in very many cars.

Another off topic post from me. While they were offering it my number one color combination choice was Aventurine Red paint with Tacora Red leather. I think that would have been my all time favorite 3er!!

Thanks!! [again]. I went with Cognac! Even Tacora Red looked pretty cool but maybe that's a bridge too far.

So, this is it! Submitted to lease company last night. Hope is ordered coming few days to a week with some approvals needed etc.

I have Dravit Grey and absolutely love it. The first 3 days of owning the car it was cloud, day 4 when I saw it in the sun I was blown away. Beautiful color.

It's a beautiful color.
Golden tint in the sun is not up to everyones taste. There are also posts here and there that color is difficult to maintain.

From what I can tell, Dravit is more popular in US, than in EU. I rarely see Dravit G20 on the roads.

I don’t think the poster was asking “why would anyone not like Dravit Grey”?

I’ve had mine for 2 years now and I haven’t experienced difficulty in maintaining the color at all. Maybe because I have ceramic coat all around but I only wash/clean the car once a month — and it isn’t garaged.

I think dravit is extremely unique and beautiful, but I ordered skyscraper gray. From my personal point of view, dravit's dark gray hues in low light are incredible, but I am not a fan of the gold / green shift in the sun.

Skyscraper is fairly pedestrian, a safe choice if you will. This is all subjective of course, but for me personally I would have chosen dravit if the sun profile were metallic silver instead of gold. Just wanted to share another viewpoint.

My 25 X6MC in Dravit Gray will be in production May 12th. Seen the color in person up here in Alaska on two cars and fell in love with it. I can’t stand chrome, so all black wheels and trim, Black Full Merino interior. Can’t wait!!

Nice topic.

I got a used, fully loaded G23 with stunning Ivory white interior. In a used car like that there was not much to choose from when it comes to color.

So I got Dravit, but personally would have never chosen that color if I was buying a new one - I prefer lighter colors in 4-series, so all the nice body lines are more visible.
