A Week With The Triplets. M2, M4 GTS, and M3 30 Jahre

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
It's been a busy week at the Ground Control shop, and I figured I'd post some pictures for everyone to enjoy.

2016 F87 M2

Our first project was the M2. We installed our adjustable ride height kit, adjustable front camber/caster plates, and our prototype rear shock mounts(more info on the shocks mounts coming soon). This was a street car, so we went with a moderate drop, and -2° front camber.

Car after ride height kit and camber/caster plates installed.

Shot of our front ride height kit installed.

Rears installed.

Top shot of the camber plates installed.

F82 M4 GTS

Second on the list was the F82 M4 GTS. This car already comes with adjustable dampers and offset front upper mounts, however we added our camber/caster plates for more adjustment range. Depending on the ride height, you should be able to get from stock to about -4°. The stock coilovers also use a smaller diameter spring, so we custom built the plates to match.

Car after ride camber/caster plates installed. We didn't alter the ride height, however we do plan to lower it a bit more.

Interior shot, take a look at that mileage.

Another shot of the interior.

Bottom view of the camber/caster plates installed.

Top view of the camber/caster plates installed.

F80 M3 30 Jahre Edition

Last but not least was the F80 M3 30 Jahre Edition. The cars original Macao Blue paint was wrapped with a clear matte vinyl. We installed our adjustable ride height kit, adjustable camber/caster plates, prototype rear shock mounts, as well as our prototype adjustable rear control arm set(more info to come). This system is designed to work with the factory adaptive dampers.

Ubers newest driver! Trevor out for a test drive with Donovan snapping a selfie.

Please enjoy the pictures guys and gals! We took more pictures than our Gopros and Iphones can handle so if you're looking for something specific, feel free to give me a holler!

Excellent post Trevor
They'll be here whenever you're ready! We were able to take apart the OE upper mounts to see how they were made; pretty cool stuff for factory BMW parts! However, if you're wanting more/adjustable camber then they offer these really are the way to go.

Absolutely zero popping noises on my F80 M3 with GC camber plates. If anything, the plates got rid of a low speed clunk that came with the factory adaptive suspension.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

What's the lowering range of the adjustable ride height kit?

No problem! Which car are you asking about? On the M2 and M3 with our kit, ride height can be adjusted from 0 to -1.5". We didn't mess with the ride height on the GTS, but I believe the owners manual tells adjustment range.

I'll have to find out on the wheel size. They were only installed while the stock wheels were painted. I'll post another picture when the rest of the works done. It should be a pretty sweet build.

We use Eibach linear race springs on our system. Any rate that is offered can be used on our kits(for the most part). Each kit built has custom spring rates to match what you plan to use the car for, where you live(road conditions), modifications already done the vehicle, etc.

Thanks! That's what I was looking forward to learning: option to maintain OEM ride height.

Any products for F36 Gran Coupe?

We've sold a couple sets of the camber plates for the F36, and I don't see why we wouldn't be able to offer our adjustable ride height kit as well.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

How much is a system for the M2? And availability in Sweden?
