Trouble resetting oil change reminder

I have a 2015 F16 50i. I bought new and changed the oil at 3k mi and subsequently didn't feel bad going slightly past the 10k mi oil change. I just changed the oil again and can't seem to reset the maintenance light. I found several procedures involving holding down the trip button with differing ignition status (engine running, not running) and none seem to give me the menu that I see in this video

Any help is appreciated.

Update: I gave it one last shot and it actually worked. Here are the conditions I used, ignition on (engine not running) driver door closed and I held the trip button within the 1-2 seconds that the "Oil change due -1600 mi" message was still displayed. The menu in the above video popped right up and I reset the light successfully.
