I have taken my cars to Queen City auto-rebuild and R&R, both in Eastside.
Hard to say, the people working there may change and quality control may go down since. As long as the shop warranty their work for as long as you own the car, go for it. Maybe I am picky since I own my own paint gauge, most after market paint job is like 250-300 micron thick, original paint is 150 micron. They always look different under the sun at different angle, just hate getting into accidents |

I've taken my 2016 F80 M3 to Haury's twice now. First time it went alright - it took two months for what they quoted for three weeks... second time they botched it hard. Replacing the front bumper took a month longer than projected again, they didn't do a final inspection and returned the car without the grill inserts and a crooked emblem (the car looked noticeably worse than when I dropped it off and the receptionist noticed but wasn't sure how to respond - PM if you want pics. I will say, they did end up fixing all of it, but I wasn't happy that I had to point it out to them.
Just my opinion/observation... they repair a lot of 3-series, but don't seem to have as much experience with the newer "M" cars. So I'm sure the others here have had good experiences. I've heard consistently good things about metro from the M meetups, so I will go there if god forbid a third idiot hits my car while its parked. |
