M performance exhaust mod (just the muffler portion)

Hey everyone,

This is my first post here, just looking to get some advice after finding an m performance exhaust for sale online. (For my 2015 m4 coupe)

I was wondering if it is worth it to install just the muffler (that's what is for sale only) portion or if the whole exhaust system should be "m performance" to truly benefit from the install. I don't like to do things half a** and am wondering how the exhaust would come from the factory\dealer if I ordered it.

Also, wondering if there are any fakes out there as this price seems almost too good. I am aware that there have been revisions in the actual muffler part due to cracking/splitting mufflers. And if so, are there ways to tell?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
