Surround view activation
New to my 2017 F15, and can't seem to activate the surround view of the car, i.e. the screen where you can drag and rotate the view around the car.
When I press the camera button in the center console, it activates only the front panoramic view. When I press the PDC button in the center console, it activates the bird eye view together with the park distance control view. This is the same as putting the gear in reverse. (Edit: When put in reverse the view should be rear view camera and park distance control.) Am I missing something here?

Not sure about the rotating thing (I thought that was a G05 X5 thing done on the app)...but the “views” you see when you press the camera button or the PDC button...it usually reverts to the last setting that was used. You can press the iDrive control knob (downward) and that will change the view. Or you can push the iDrive control knob to the left and scroll up to the top of the multiple selections along the left side of the screen (oops...you have a 2017...I’m not sure if you have the “tiles” or the ribbon selection)...but if you have the ribbon selection...scroll up to the top (will be a camera icon) and press down on the controller and it should change view between rear and birds-eye (if you pressed the PDC button) and change between front view and bird’s eye (if you pressed the camera button).

If you have the front camera...you can do the same thing (as I already mentioned in post #2). You can either see the front...or press the camera button and you'll get the top view/birds-eye view. This can also be automatically activated if you have it selected in iDrive...it will turn on the front view or top view/bird's eye view when you are moving forward and get near an object.
If in reverse or if you press the PDC button...you will get either the rear view camera or the top view/birds-eye view which can be switched by pressing the iDrive controller button.
