Charge pipe upgrade??

Hey guys. i'm pretty new with car mods. im looking to upgrade my stock charge pipe as a christmas treat.

i've heard good ones from evolution racewerks but it's a bit out of budget for me for a cp. i'm considering ftp and masata as well.

any thoughts? thanks!

We do not sell Masata, But i can vouch for FTP quality and fitment

My Eventuri carbon charge pipes fit great and have no clearance issues (very common with charge pipes). They even come with a small spacer to give additional clearance with the engine cover.

If you want a real treat at similar cost pick up a used BM3 license and try the free GTS tune. You can pic your paid-for Stage tune later on.

Chargepipe upgrades are unnecessary at the boost levels of Stock up to Stg2. If you were in a very cold area it might be different but 'Bama ain't cold enough.

If/when you have to…Mishimoto are great quality and fit at a nice cost. Mike at XPH is a great vendor here, just ask him for best pricing.

Yo hoho!

I installed ARM silicon charge pipes about 3 weeks ago. So far I love them.

Note, they do not fit well under the engine cover. Which is fine with me as I could care less about the cover for now (I plan to get one eventually). I did router out the stock cutouts and made them big enough to fit. A bit of work, but worth it.

Cool! the clearance feature is interesting. a lot of complaints are regarding fitment so having the clearance sure is a bonus

i checked out mishimoto and i feel like its quite comparable with masata. the price is quite similar too. i think im contemplating between the two now
