Does it look normal? hood & bumper line

Hello Guys

I've removed 4 screws on the bumper (top) to install matt black grills,
and it seems like I need to pull out the bumper little bit more to get lined with hood? or is it normal?

Pretty common problem with this car. If you run a search there's a thread where some people have it worse than others. Mine is prefect thank god.

It has a little play in it. You can adjust the bumper slightly. I haven't tried this, but my bumper has been off a couple of times for mods and every time it went back it came out slightly different. Right now I have it nice and even.

Normal? I'd say no. Common? Yes. It seems many M3s suffer from Type 2 malocclusion. (i.e. an overbite)

How easy was it to adjust? Did you take any pics so you could put up a DIY thread on this?

Guys if the car has this problem, can you take it to a bmw service department and have them correct it under warranty?

I had that problem and mine was way worse. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it. Nice and flush. I suggest you guys/gals do too.!
