VRS Lip - Carbon or Plastic

I am looking to get a VRS lip but can't decide between the carbon or the plastic. I have alpine white E90 so I know the carbon would look good, but not sure how it looks with the ABS plastic. Anyone painted their carbon fiber one alpine white so I can get an idea?

that looks awesome, don't think I would mold mine though. I guess I would go with the carbon fiber if I can get a confirmation of whether there will ever be a carbon diffuser coming out for the E90

if your going to paint entirely then plastic is best since the CF isn't going to be seen anyway, not sure what the weight differences are of CF v. Poly

I'm thinking of getting the poly b/c I want to make it look more OEM by painting but in the future when I finally decided what exhaust to get I want to get the VRS diffuser in cf w/ the sides painted...do you guys think it'll look good w/ the front lip painted and the rear diffuser will have CF exposed? opinions please

maybe I should just get the full CF front lip and just have a portion painted or not at all, don't see why I would paint the entire CF lip...

Yes. CF weave in too many spots on the car is tacky looking in my opinion. There is more than enough exposed CF on the roof alone. Not necessary for lip and diffuser to match.

I agree but not 100%....but by your statement I should go w/ the poly since I'm thinking of painting

I prefer the CF look but if you are going to paint it, save your money and go with the plastic version. We are running specials on this lip through tomorrow as well

The E90 CF will be released in January! Look out for pictures of it on our project E90 as we get closer to the release date.
